Big Mountain Skiing, Small Mountain Experience

Just three miles south of Tupper Lake, N.Y., Big Tupper Ski Area offers big mountain skiing with a small mountain experience.

The area has 105 acres, 27 trails, five lifts, 100 percent snowmaking and a half pipe and snowboard park.

There is terrain to challenge the expert, encourage the beginner and appeal to the snowboarder and telemarker.

Their state of the art Prinoth snow grooming system and meticulous, skilled operators keep mountain conditions optimal.

Night skiing is offered Wednesday and Friday nights 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Kids 8 and younger always ski free at Big Tupper.
